Sabin draws from the combined expertise of the acoustics, lighting, and architectural industries, leveraging insights from our experience at companies like Gensler, Arktura, Focal Point, and Turf. We understand the challenges across the entire process, from design to installation, and we work to eliminate them. As makers ourselves, we offer extensive design freedom and capabilities, ensuring that we never limit the creativity of the designers we collaborate with.
Our namesake, the sabin (pronounced sey·bin), is a unit of measurement for sound absorption per square foot. With NRC ratings over 0.95, our products absorb up to 95% of sound energy, neutralizing distractions in spaces with open concepts, hard surfaces, or high capacity. We ensure interiors remain comfortable and bright without compromising on design.

Our products achieve an artfully tailored finish through the invention of special folds and seams. Each piece is meticulously sewn with precision, using techniques rarely seen in the industry. For example, Block is only possible because of our proprietary, patent pending G, Z, and C folds, and our team discovered a more efficient way to engineer the large radii on Linear Standard 9 and Quad.
