Chicago’s Cobra Lounge, a restaurant, bar, and music venue, integrated LINEAR in 2023 to mitigate acoustic exposure. The space had pre-existing pendant lights and an exposed ceiling, making it a great candidate for the unlit baffles.
STANDARD 27 effectively reduced noise levels without invasive measures with sound absorption from the PET felt construction and surface area. The suspended system also contributed to a cozy, polished feeling by adding soft texture and spatial containment.
With acoustic treatment, the functionality and ambiance of Cobra Lounge improved, allowing patrons to interact comfortably and enjoy themselves.
